ASSIST. DIRECTOR OF BANDS
Mr. Bridges is a composer, educator and conductor from Sulphur Louisiana. He currently serves as the Assistant Director of Bands at Westlake High School in Westlake, LA, where he is responsible for conducting the second concert and jazz bands, as well as co-teaching the marching band and other ensembles. Prior to his appointment at Westlake, he served as the Director of Orchestras for Longview ISD in Longview, Texas, where he was responsible for teaching string orchestra programs at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Mr. Bridges holds a Master of Music in Wind Conducting from Stephen F. Austin State University, where he studied conducting with Dr. David Campo. He also holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from McNeese State University, studying conducting under Dr. Jay Jacobs, Dr. Jeffrey Lemke, and Dr. Julian “Jay” Sconyers.
Jacob is an active composer and arranger who has written for a variety of ensembles, including works for wind band, orchestra, jazz band, and chamber ensembles. Mr. Bridges is also a professional trumpet player who regularly performs throughout southwest Louisiana in ensembles such as the Last Minute Big Band and Calcasieu British Brass Band.
Mr. Bridges’ numerous professional affiliations, both past and present, include the Louisiana Music Educators Association, Louisiana Bandmasters Association, National Association for Music Education, Texas Music Educators Association, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, and the Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band Fraternity.
Outside of music, Jacob enjoys playing pickleball, movies, and playing with his Boston terrier, Melody.
COLORGUARD INSTRUCTOR
Patrice Turner has been involved in the marching arts for over 20 years. She attended McNeese State University and ULM, receiving an associate, a Bachelor's, and two Master's Degrees. As a Colorguard Educator, Patrice has worked with several open-class and world-class drum corps.
She was successfully the Director of an Independent World Winterguard team for ten years and has been teaching Colorguard at Westlake since 2012. During her time at Westlake, the Colorguard has won best overall Colorguard 4 times and LMCGPC Winterguard state championships twice. The Winterguard team has been WGI regional finalist for the past 8 years. She also is the director of the Arnett Middle Colorguard and Winterguard programs.
In the classroom, she is currently teaching Fuel, English, and Business English at Westlake High School.
Her passion for marching arts is evident, and she is excited to continue her journey with Westlake.
ASSIST. COLORGUARD INSTRUCTOR
Colin Boudreau has been involved with the guard activity for 6 years. In high school, He marched with the Westlake High School Marching band, and Varsity winterguard for 3 years, while serving as captain his senior year. While in high school he received 2 consecutive gold medals (2021,2022), and bronze after being promoted to a high class his senior year (2023).
Colin has also furthered his education with Lake Area Independent Winterguard, being a staff member in 2023, followed by a full member in 2024.
While in high school he also helped with the Arnett Winterguard from 2021-ongoing. He plans to continue his Colorguard education by marching Drum Corps and has a motto of "Never stop improving."
DRUMLINE INSTRUCTOR
Luke Pacetti, from Delcambre, Louisiana, is currently an undergraduate student at McNeese State University concentrating in Instrumental Music Education. With his primary focus on percussion, he has participated in numerous ensembles such as the McNeese State Wind Symphony, McNeese State Jazz Ensemble, Louisiana Choral Foundation, Lake Charles Symphony, Lake Charles Messiah Chorus, Louisiana Stars Drum and Bugle Corps, Monarch Independent Percussion, and Mandarins Drum and Bugle Corps.
Luke is currently a part time percussion instructor at Westlake High School in Westlake, LA for 3 years and Sulphur High School in Sulphur, LA for 4 years.
Mr. Pacetti arranged percussion at Sulphur High School for the 2024 season where they placed 3rd in the LMEA Class 5C State Championships and he's also arranging for Westlake High School for the 2025 season. He plans on his future years to become a band director and percussion arranger.
DRUMLINE INSTRUCTOR
Karson Parnell, from Sulphur, Louisiana, is a current undergraduate student at McNeese State University, studying Instrumental Music Education. His primary instrument is the bass clarinet, and he has performed with several ensembles, including the LMEA All-State Band in 2021, 2022, and 2023, as well as the McNeese State Wind Symphony.
In addition to playing bass clarinet, Karson has percussion experience. He was a member of the Sulphur High School front ensemble for three years, playing marimba, and has participated in both the McNeese Drumline and the Steel Pan Ensemble.
Karson is currently working part-time at Westlake High School in Westlake, LA, a position he has held for two years. He plans to pursue a career as a band director.

DRUM MAJOR & WOODWINDS INSTRUCTOR
Royce Singletary is an incoming freshman majoring in music education at McNeese State University. A native of Sulphur, Louisiana and graduate of Sulphur High School, Royce served as drum major for two years and was actively involved in both music and athletics, including running track.
A clarinetist at heart, Royce is a two-time LMEA All-State musician, two-time LMEA State Soloist, and four-year member of the District V Honor Band. He also served as a student ambassador, reflecting his commitment to leadership and community. While clarinet is his primary instrument, Royce is a versatile musician with experience on several instruments.
With plans to become a band director, Royce is passionate about music education and inspiring the next generation of musicians. Outside of music, he enjoys hanging out with friends and playing pickleball in his free time.
