• 17th: World's Finest Chocolate Fundraiser Begins (This is a band fundraiser for individual student accounts)

• 23rd: State Festival (Symphonic Band) **Schedule below**

• 25th: Jazz Fest (W. W. Lewis) 12pm-6pm

• 28th: Spring Concert 6:30pm WHS GYM & Auditorium 

May:

• 1st: Pass the Torch Ceremony 10am (Band will play/wear Dreamweaver shirt and jeans)

• 1st: Band Banquet 7pm-8:30pm (Freedom Hall @ Pinederosa Park, 1000 National Drive Westlake, LA 70669)

• 11th-13th: Incoming Freshmen Camp 4-5pm

• 11th-13th: BlackWatch Drumline Workshop

• 12th: Booster Meeting 6:30pm **PLEASE NOTE DATE CHANGE**

• 14th: Initiation Ceremony for incoming Freshmen. Report time 5:45pm

• 20th: Half Day/Graduation

LMEA State Details

Northwestern State University in the Creative & Performing Arts (CAPA) Complex.

• Take LA 6 or "University Pkwy" and head east.

• Turn right on Central Avenue to enter the NSU campus.

• The State Assessment will be in the Magale Recital Hall.

8:30am:  Leave WHS 

11:30am: Arrive at Whataburger (902 Keyser Ave)

1:10pm:   Warm Up

1:45pm:   State Performance

2:15pm:   Depart for WHS

5:30pm:  Arrive at WHS

**Students should wear their concert black attire.**
